Krazy Kayaks - Raising Money for BLISSThe Premature Baby Charity
In November 2003 Corey Owen Stannard was born 12 wks premature weighing 2lb 2ozs. In recent years we have raised money for our local unit where Corey was born, this year we have decided to raise money for the Premature Baby Charity Bliss.
BLISS was established 27 years ago, and is the only national organisation dedicated to working for special care babies and their families. Since then over £22 million has been raised towards our work helping babies born too soon, too small or too sick to cope on their own.
In June 2008 Dave and Adam (neither who are kayakers) will be kayaking from London to Sheffield via Sea and rivers/Canals. This is in excess of 300 miles and they will endeavour to complete their mission within a week.
